How Data Flows Between Xero and DonorChase

Data flows one way only: from Xero into DonorChase. DonorChase reads your Xero records to work out what each donor owes, and never creates, changes or deletes anything in Xero. Xero stays your financial record; DonorChase is where your team does the chasing.

Nothing is sent back to Xero.

When the sync runs

Each sync brings DonorChase up to date with Xero:

Amounts and currency

DonorChase shows invoice amounts as they appear in Xero, including tax. It is designed for UK organisations invoicing in pounds sterling. If you raise invoices in other currencies, DonorChase does not convert them, so they are added to totals at their face value.
